Northern Illinois University Men's Rugby

Fellow NIU rugby alums-

 

We are excited to announce the newly formed Northern Illinois Rugby Alumni Association NFP (Abbreviated NIRAA).  We are officially a non-for-profit organization. Since we've been granted 501c3 status by the IRS, all contributions are tax deductible.

 

Mission and Purpose: The Northern Illinois Rugby Alumni Association’s mission is to encourage leadership, sportsmanship, and passion for college level rugby and beyond.  The Northern Illinois Rugby Alumni Association’s purpose is provide guidance as well as support both the Men's and Women's Rugby teams by way of scholarships and grants.

 

Thanks to the efforts of Rick Turner and Rich Egel’s countless hours and meetings. It is now a reality.  

 

Not only do we have the NIU Rugby 50th Anniversary to celebrate but the exciting future for both Men’s and Women’s rugby teams.
